He brings extensive international experience from both industry and consulting, including roles as Global Head of Communications at Henkel, as well as CEO of Hill & Knowlton Strategies and Edelman Germany. His client portfolio includes nearly 400 companies, among them numerous DAX corporations and global brands such as Siemens, Novartis, Ford, Shell, Unilever, and Facebook.

His impressive professional journey has taken him across Europe, the United States, and Asia, providing him with a unique breadth of experience spanning industry, associations, and consulting.

While still studying at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, he founded his first communications consultancy, “Success.” After completing his studies, he moved into industry, where he laid the foundation for his outstanding reputation as a brand and communications expert.

His most notable achievement was undoubtedly his tenure as Global Corporate Vice President at Henkel, a Fortune 500 and DAX-listed company. There, he was globally responsible for Corporate Brand Management, Corporate Communications, and CSR. Under his leadership, Henkel successfully transformed from a German chemicals company into a global FMCG and technology group.

His consulting career began around a decade ago as CEO and Chairman of Hill+Knowlton Strategies, followed by his role as CEO of the internationally renowned advisory firm Edelman. Under his leadership, both organizations were restructured and developed into top-tier consultancies in the communications and branding industry.

Ernst Primosch has developed and implemented tailored solutions for nearly 400 companies, including industry leaders such as Siemens, Novartis, Pfizer, Merck, FMC, Ford, Shell, HP, Unilever, Bayer, Bosch, KPMG, Linde, Lanxess, IKEA, Tata, Huawei, Northrop Grumman, Nord Stream, K+S, Singapore Airlines, Australian Tourism, Brand South Africa, GSK, Nestlé, Lindt, ALDI, Lidl, REWE, RWE, thyssenkrupp, Vodafone, Comdirect, Deka, UBS, Salesforce, NetApp, PayPal, and Facebook.

His teams have received numerous national and international awards for their outstanding work. In addition, he contributes—whenever his schedule allows—as a lecturer at universities and as a member of international bodies, including the prestigious Arthur W. Page Society in New York.
